This 2″ thick insulated sandwich panel is crafted from top-grade materials. A richly detailed long recessed design, deep pebble grain texture, and a two-coat prefinished paint system join forces to make your home look even better.
The hot dipped galvanized steel body and hemmed inside return rail give the panel excellent strength and staying power.
Beneath the .75 mil exterior top coat is a .25 mil rust-inhibiting primer. The top coat guards against fading and chalking, helps colors stay consistent across panels, and adds to the finish’s durability.
Galvanized steel hinge plates span each section’s full height at every hinge location, so attaching hinges, handles, struts, and step plates is straightforward.
The interlocking rails build in extra strength and seal more effectively against wind, rain, and snow.
The retainer reinforces the section and keeps the replaceable U-type bottom astragal weatherstrip firmly seated, helping to hold back the elements.
Polystyrene insulation is pressure bonded between two sheets of hot dipped galvanized steel. This layered construction helps your home conserve energy, keeps the door quiet as it moves, and limits the outside noise that reaches your garage.
