The Model 3610 is a 2″ thick insulated steel sandwich panel door. It has a detailed traditional raised panel design, deep woodgrain texture, and a two-coat prefinished paint system. It looks good from the street and keeps your garage more comfortable, quieter, and more energy-efficient.
The hemmed inside return rail adds strength, and the galvanized steel resists wear and corrosion.
The 1-mil paint system has a 0.25-mil rust-inhibiting primer under a 0.75-mil top coat that resists fading and chalking. Color stays consistent from panel to panel.
20-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel hinge plates run the full height of each section at every hinge location. Hinges, handles, struts, and step plates mount securely.
The interlocking rails add strength and seal better against wind and rain, which helps during Houston storm season.
A rigid aluminum retainer holds a replaceable U-type bottom weatherstrip. When it wears out, you replace the weatherstrip, not the door.
Polystyrene insulation is pressure-bonded between two sheets of galvanized steel. That means better energy savings, a quieter door, and less outside noise in your garage. The CFC-free expanded polystyrene is eco-friendly and won't break down from vibration or over time.
